Collectively our members manage over 27 million hectares of productive Crown and private forests on behalf of Ontario.

Through our Woodlands Committee, the OFIA advocates for sustainable, balanced forest management across Ontario.

Our Woodlands Committee is a forum for forest managers to discuss pressing issues ranging from species-at-risk to silviculture, forest management and forest health.

We provide a voice to forest management practitioners across the province by collaborating with Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and other relevant ministries on forest management policy issues.
