There are currently over 650 job vacancies across all aspects of the OFIA’s members operations. From labourers, truck drivers, heavy equipment operators, drone pilots, electricians, millwrights, engineers, biologists, foresters, and chemists - the labour need is as diverse as the industry itself. Lead by our Human Resources Committee, the OFIA is making connections with trainers, educators, insurers, and regulators across the province to address the increasing workforce gap in the sector.
